The 2-Axis Skull
In the very near future, I plan on experimenting with making 2-axis moving Bucky
and Tiny Tim skulls - in other words, skulls that can move along the "Yes"-axis
(nod your head "Yes") and the "No"-axis (shake your head "No"). The goal is
to create this skull as simply as possible (no custom-milled parts - if the part
cannot be made with at most a band-saw, saber-saw, table-saw, and drill, it won't
be made) and for an embarasingly small amount of money (well, embarasing for those
groups selling such items for hundreds of dollars). Ultimate goal is to stay
under $50 but I will be happy with $100. I will cronicle my attempts on this
page and hope to get some sort of feed-back system in place so others can add their
own comments and suggestions.
